Shadman started playing the cello at age eight. He has played in his schools orchestra for seven years. Shadman plays the baritone with his school wind ensemble. He has played with the Syracuse Youth Orchestra for five years, and is currently principal cellist. He has played all-county and all-state festivals in Ithaca and Fulton. Shadman has played in the pit in many musical productions at Auburn High School and has played with the Maroon Vanguard marching band. He is a member of the TriM Music Honor Society and is a 2013 CCMEA Scholarship recipient. Shadman has played with the Auburn Chamber Orchestra for three years. Sadly this is his last concert with us as he was accepted to Syracuse University Setnor School of Music for Music Education and Performance Honors and will be attending college in the fall.

The Frank Lentini, Mike Rosa, Bonnie Tennant Scholarship fund has awarded a $500 scholarship to Shadman to help he on his future music endeavors.

The members of the Auburn Chamber Orchestra and it’s Board of Directors wish him luck.
